My Bum Hurts

Went for an hour and a half ride this morning on my bike. It's obvious I need a different seat

My First Fixie

Finally picked up a bike today. It's an old Schwinn that's a single speed as it sits, but I plan on picking up a cog here soon to do the fixie conversion. I've been a BMXer all my childhood and even now I still ride but I've always wanted to give these things a try. More pics and possibly vids to come in the spring. Number One is on the hunt for one also, or he might just piece one together. Either way I'm stoked to go riding with him.

Pioneer of the Sport Bike

It all started with the FZR. They had the first deltabox frame that all modern sportbikes are modeled after today. The 600 and 1000 models were steel, but the 400 model was aluminum and was the same size making it easy to swap them out for an overall lighter bike. I've personally owned one, and my brother has it now. They aren't the fastest bikes around, but will hang with the best of newer ones. The power doesn't really kick in until high rpm's so you have to gas it up pretty good, but who doesn't like doing that? It's a very narrow bike making it perfect for canyon carving which is where it gets down to business. Yamaha was far ahead of their time. Dual headlight bikes FTW!

Start Em Young

Names Baydoni. He loves to drift and he'll tell you himself. Wonder where he gets that from? Atta boy! ;)

I Wanna Do This

I have a mint set of seats...maybe I will. I originally wanted to make a love seat or some gaming chairs. We shall see.

Happy Holidays!

Monkey Boy Style! There's a snow storm on it's way and it's coming down now...time for some fun! Slide safe!

Gone for the Holidays

Be back soon. Maybe Number One will blog from his phone. Here is the preparation for our little road trip. Number One and I were baking up a storm, with some help from nos padres. Like 15 pounds worth of goody goodness. I didn't get pics of everything. Looking forward to playing Monopoly and drinking pop all night. And shoveling of course. Car progress is slow. Hopefully we get something going after the holidays.

Towmater is DK!

Haha I see camber. I see ultra-lowness. I see a tow hook hanging out back tsurikawa status. I will own this movie.

Broadfield

Went to walmart with the fam today and as usual I had to take a detour down the magazine aisle. Spent most of the time drooling over Toby's coupe and his buddies hatch that made Modified mag. Check it.

Too Good To Be True

Ended up passing on the roof rack that I was going to pick up. Turns out that the system that this guy had was an older one that had been discontinued over ten years ago. It used y towers if that tells you anything. $225 for a slightly used full rack was just too good to be true.

What Happened to Fox Kids?

So I woke up this morning wanting to watch some cartoons and flipped through the channels looking for Fox Kids. I couldn't find it for the life of me. I eventually looked it up online and apparantly Fox Kids had come to an end in 2002? Man. What a disappointment.

Baby Steps

Winter has really hankered the progress on our cars but little by little we're plugging away. Being jobless for awhile isn't going to help anything either but Bunny has been gathering alot of the stuff that he needs to complete his manual swap and I've been looking at diffs and wheels. Not that I need them, I just like to switch things up. New shoes are always a good thing. I'm making a trip to WDM tomorrow to look at a rack for style points lol. Hopefully the guy I'm buying from pulls through. Money is tight and the weather blows, I'd take em' both home. I'll leave you with this ballin' SC on Heartbreaker status from California.

Shakotan Me Captain!

I Almost Didn't Notice

But something caught my eye about this Supra. Boyd Coddington Wheels is now selling its own rendition of the classic 4 (or 8) spoke Mark II Supra wheels. Dope. Powder coated white....Doper.

Revolutions

15x9 -12. So proper on a miata.

Bout Damn Time

It's finally snowing. And it's blowing like no ones business. There were white out conditions when I drove home from my girl's house earlier. Didn't stop me from sliding the Impala and her SUV around though. Haha. As much as people hate it, I'm pretty stoked about it. These guys know how to make lemonade :)

Series 1026

I will own a set of these before it's all said and done. Mark my words. 17x10.5 +20. I've been pondering 17s for awhile so I can get just a little bit lower. Or maybe I should just stick to shredding 18s. They're rad too.

Navan Sideskirts

I want some. I found some. I bought some. Okay not that last one yet but I'm seriously thinking about it. Ive found some that are the cleanest I've ever seen and get this, they match my body color! Wow what a find! They're actually a little cheaper than most the other ones I've ran across too.

Thought this picture was pretty F.N. cool. Not to mention you don't see FDs like this.

This Will Trip You Up

S13.4s are becoming more and more common but the majority of them have the Kouki front ends. Check out the S13.4 with a Zenki front end. Crazy. But kind of cool in its own way.
