The MOST USEFUL machine...not

Old Timers

Went and visited an old friend today. I've known him since I was probably seven when I began racing slot cars. He's been a good friend and a mentor. He's always ready to help if you need it. Every time I see him I learn something new. Small things, tricks of the trade you might say. He's currently building two race cars. His ingenuity and creativity shows in each one of them with all of the custom parts that hes fabricated. He makes everything with wood or constuction paper first and then transfers it to metal. I love hanging out with older guys that have been in the game for years because of the wisdom they have. They can show you a simple trick that can make something that's been fighting you so much easier. Not only do I learn things pertaining to cars, but also life lessons. "Too much, no good." Thanks for everything you've done for us.

Priorities

Looks like were not gonna make the Chicago Stance Nation meet. I was stoked for it too. My mom is sick and my grandpa might have cancer and might be selling his house. My family is also having a garage sale this weekend. I feel like I should stay and help out. There's more important things for me to do in Iowa for right now. Gotta do what you gotta do. There's always next year. Hopefully everything works out for the best and my family stays in good health. I'm bummed but there's alot going on right now. I guess it'll give me more time to get my car sitting better and some stupid shit worked out. Can't win em' all. Time to order more parts.

Getting Stuff Done Without Doing Stuff

There was a ton of thought and numerous mathematical equations that went into making this work.

A = (distance from your right eye to your left nipple x your number of facebook friends) + 39.13

A = make your girlfriend do the work

Update: Still working on wheel fitment issues. We stiffened the rear springs quite a bit to keep the rim lips from going all war hammer status on my fenders. Thanks Lala!

Progress.

Not much. But some. I ordered a wink mirror and mounted that up nice and tight. I'm already loving it. The view is incredible. Now I just need a monkeyboysyo sticker to put on it haha

Polishing My Turd

I half ass washed my fody today. I didn't get into detail with it because I'm going to be taking it to the car wash for a thorough cleaning inside and out for the Stance Nation show in Chicago. It's about a 5 hour drive to Arlington Heights where the show will be held so I'm sure I'll be washing it again when I get there along with Bunny and his girlfriend. It should be plenty dusty and bug splattered when we arrive. Good thing were leaving a bit early.

Loaded Tractor Trailer Drags

Built Semi

Do want. I'm on a roll with semi's. Maybe I should sell my car and save my money. Haha.

Is that the new iPhone 4?

Keep On Truckin'

I want this dumped International to haul my shit around in. Looks like it has a fifth wheel fabricated to haul a semi trailer. Would make for a dope ass rig. Even cooler than Mad Mike's if you ask me.

Strawberry Face EG?

S15 fronts are only cool on S15's. This EG doesn't look that bad, but the 13's I see rocking 15 fronts kill it for me. Yuck.

Big Booty Bitches

Wooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2jz XB

Toaster on the run.

Skynoma

I've never been big on s10's. I've seen a few here and there that catch my eye but this is by far the coolest one I have ever seen. It has an RB20 in it. See for yourself.

I did a little research on this thing and found out that he blew the motor up but is now sporting an RB25. Cool points for you my good man.

Rotas???

Yep. Rotas. P45R2 to be exact. I don't care what people say about the company. These wheels are dope. And for the price, you can bet your ass I'd buy some. This is a staggered set that is 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10 +20. They were originally only offered in Japan and Europe but they've recently become available in the U.S. Too bad they don't offer them in 17's. Maybe Bunny can cop a set.

They've even developed a P45R3 that is supposed to be Rota's deepest dish wheel to date, 18x12.

Flashbacks in the Cereal Aisle

I went to Dollar General today with my ma and my bro. Before I knew it we were smack dab in the middle of the cereal aisle when I started seeing things that I haven't seen in years. This stuff brought back memories. There's so many different variations of the Cap N' Crunch we had when I was little. There used to be regular, crunch berry, and peanut butter. Now you can get all berries which I would've loved lol. I remember when it used to come with a packet of frosting on Christmas.

Oh, and fuck the people that decided to put this guy on the cookie crisp box.

It's supposed to look like this. Faggots.
I searched for the last pic on google. I clicked on it and it was from Zilvia. Apparently there's a favorite cereal thread. No shit.

New Parts

I need lots. Next on my list is going to be a set of D-Max floor mats because the ones I have are some egay specials that like to scoot forward and bunch up under my pedals. I've got some good shit off of ebay before but these unfortunately are not gonna make that list. They're more of a safety hazard than anything. What color should I get? I like the grey and black, but I think I'm gonna get the red and black just to stand out. I want people to be like whoa when they get in. Because I'm a flashy kind of guy.

Update: StanceNation: Aggressive Wheel Fitment Meet and Greet Trifecta

Hitting this show up with Bunny for sure, weather permitting. Not sure if we're leaving Saturday after work or early Sunday morning. I mean EARLY. Like leaving at 4 to be in Chicago on time. The show is from noon to three and it's about a six hour drive. We'll be taking the s-chassis express so we're allowing some extra time for hurdles along the way. It should be interesting. I'm stoked to see how well my car can handle the roads on the way there. Looking forward to meeting some chill people and seeing some dope rides with proper wheel fitment.

Is so not cool.

I Wonder What's Going On Here...Prom Ride?

I hope someone is going to slam this 480sx and slide it. I've never seen a hellaflush limo...

Car Show at Ziebarts

Last weekend's car show didn't blow over well because of the weather. I've seen some pictures from it and there was a very good turnout for what it was but my car just wasn't up for it. Luckily, there is another one this weekend at Ziebart's in Clive. I got a heads up last night via facebook so I'll be hitting this one up for sure. Weather permitting of course. I'd hate to miss out on ALL of the year end shows. Winter sucks.

Supra by Mouth HaHa

Tricycle Drifting

KA20de. Not 24.

I recently heard about this motor that was released in a few vehicles in Japan. I believe they came in the Nissan Largo and the Caravan. Maybe a couple others. I've been doing a lot of research on the engine but there is not much info to be had. Especially because the topic always turns into a KA vs. SR war. Not to mention the engine was never released stateside and there have been few, if any, imported here. Anyways the discussion of using a KA20 crank in a KA24 to produce an engine that will rev like an SR while maintaining the rigidity of the cast iron block of the KA engines got me wondering. Many people think this idea is dumb. "Just get and SR," they say. Well I would rather do my homework about the engine than take someone's advice that knows nothing about it. Who knows. Maybe those people can be saved by showing them the advantages, if any, of this unicorn of a motor. Until then, I'll just keep studying. Here's an example of a Nissan Caravan that this motor came in...this one in particular doesn't have the KA20DE in it though. Actually, I don't even think it was offered in this generation. I just thought this one looked upper decker

Endangered!

Seems like every day there are fewer and fewer S14 Zenki SE lips left in the wild. I've been looking for one for over a year now and every time I get somewhat close to capturing one, it slips away into the darkness. Here is one of just a handful to be left in their natural habitat.

Lunch at Buffet City

Well, not really lunch. I just had a soda. But met up with some friends today and talked cars and good times. Haven't seen some of them in quite a while. Good seeing you guys again. We need to get a meet together soon when the weather turns around and before it takes a turn for the worst.

Mo' Money, Mo' Prollems

Soarers Tickle My Fancy

Especially this one. Home Depot intakes are coooooooool.

Rambler American with a Rotary

I love shit like this because it pisses old men off when they find out what's powering it. I saw a Nova once with the same powertrain but this thing is so much cooler. It's a 1.3 from an RX-7 with a big turbo.

1929 Nash Hot Rod Pick Up

Since my brother and I were handed down a Nash from our dad, anything Nash, Rambler, or AMC related fascinates me. This truck did just that when I saw it. It's actually a one off custom built from a 1929 Nash sedan and a hand made box. The coolest part of the whole thing is that it's powered by an inline six from a Triumph.

A Walk Down the Hot Road

180 aero done right.

Rain, Rain, Go Away...

Looks like Saturday's show is going to get rained out according to the forcast. Maybe it will miss us. The weather guy is never right, so there's still hope. On a side note, I should be a meteorologist, it's gotta be the easiest fucking job in the world. I'd predict rain everyday. That way if it rains I was right, and if it doesn't then no one gives a shit. Anyways, sucks because we're so stoked for it. Even paid out the ass for Bunny's tires to be here in time to get his car finished for the time being. Oh well, I guess there's always next year. Or HIN and Stance Nation :)

No wonder...forgot to turn my swag on

アート Food for the Artistic Side of Your Brain

This MIGHT have been cool in 1993. MAYBE.

The soft top and 300sx panels fail so hard it isn't worth laughing over.

Huge Intercooler

This E30 has no problem keeping cool. The intercooler stretches the entire length of the front bumper.
