Sooooo.....
Exhaust still isn't here. Getting jerked around a little by eAutoworks. Supposedly it will be here by Wednesday now. We'll see. I did however mount up the downpipe and test pipe I bought. I need to take them back off and exaggerate the bend in the downpipe to get it to tuck a little better.
EGR plugs are in, completing the emissions removal.
Interior is done for now, until cage time =)
Fixed my buddy Manny's bumper on his new Civic for him. I think it turned out pretty gnarly.

Our Mother Always Told Us
"Your body is your temple."
It's so true on so many levels. Without good health we have nothing.
Summer is coming. And it's going to be RAD.

A Panda in The Snow
Panda Pirate Brian put together a video of some sliding while he was back home from Japan. Enjoy! =D

Sound Deadening
Decided to continue with removing the sound deadening. I'm gonna keep the car gutted and possibly paint the inside. We'll see where it goes. Nissan did a hella good job caking the stuff on to the transmission tunnel and wheel wells. The task definitely blows but will be worth it in the end...road noise and all lol. I'm also trying to source some manual seat belts to get rid of all the auto business.

Simple Stuffs
Today I went ahead and removed my EGR bogusness. We're just waiting on the plugs to come in for the holes in our headers where the EGR tubes used to be. After that Taylor decided to paint his valve cover. Turns out he was sent a valve cover gasket for an S14 KA (yes they're different), so I pulled my cover and painted it too to make good use of the spare gasket. I went with white. Number one chose black. Here's the shots of what happened. Notice the front of Taylor's valve cover. He painted "no compressor", repping our love for NA power. =)

Radio Harnesses Showed Up
So I wired up my new headunit tonight and I'm really happy with it. It's not mounted yet because I'm waiting for new brackets, but I tested it out and it sounds good. Also went ahead and painted my wink mirror mounts and a couple other odds and ends of the interior. Looking better every day.
And yes that's a Hardee's Steak and Egg Biscuit. <3

Across The Pond
We tend to regularly visit blogs of dudes that share similar interests as us. As my brother was taking roll a few days ago he ran into a picture of my car on Hudson, a blog from the United Kingdom. It's awesome to see my car popping up and getting some attention in other countries. Thanks for the love Hudson! Anyways, check out his blog. K's Aero Silvia Awesomeness.

Interior Decorating
Talked to some people. Thought for awhile. Decided not to gut the car. Today I put all my trunk interior and rear seats back in place. I can gut any time. But finding interior in mint shape like this will be hard to come by if I ever wanted to go back. The plan right now is to eventually fit a cage while keeping a full interior. The quick releases showed up today too, which are mega-rad by the way, so Taylor and I threw those in. Here's the finished product.

Busy Day Mannn
Passed out at three. Back up at eight. Haven't stopped running. Ended up shipping out Taylor's gold JDM steering wheel to some guy on a trade for PBM S14 toe rods. They'll soon be fitted to my car. Sold my factory steering wheel and shipped that out today as well. Also got a hold of the company I bought my BC Spec II from and I was told it should be here within a week and a half. I hope. Apparently Buddy Club will be getting their first shipment of exhaust systems on the 24th since the earthquake hit Japan. My system is due to arrive by the 29th. Suppose to go to a show on the 30th. I love being rushed.
Oh yeah and this is Blizzard. My cousin's boyfriend's dog. I took a few pictures of her the other day because I thought her eyes were pretty cool. Cheditout.

Backyard Exhaust Shop
After finishing up my header, It was on to making my downpipe fit snugly above my frame rails. The death of my old exhaust system was because it hung too low and scraped away until it leaked. My test pipe and downpipe both showed up a few days ago so Bunny and I chocked up my car this morning and then test fitted everything to see what would have to be done to get it all to work. The downpipe clearly wasn't made for a lowered car so we flattened it out and exagerated the bend towards the test pipe. It definitely isn't the prettiest, but it won't be easily seen and shouldn't scrape which is what counts. Now we're just waiting for those BC II's and some EGR plugs. Still lots of other work to be done though.
Header Refinishing
I ordered a new header off of a fellow Zilvian that was in pretty rough shape. It showed up a few days ago and yesterday I finally got around to giving it a good old spit shine. I spent nearly two hours with dremels and wire brushes to get all of the rust off of it and then finally cleaned it up a bit and shot it with high temp header paint. I'm fairly impressed with the results.

Free Radio!
To finish up the interior =) Thanks to my awesome cousin I will now be able to pump up the jam. On an even better note I took this picture with the D40. Number one and I are starting to get the hang of using it. We're pretty impressed with how the pictures are turning out.

Interior Fit for a King
Took some time to get my interior all put back together, except for the radio area of course. Tunes should be coming soon. I've been playing with the idea of a small sub behind the front seats since there are no more rear seats. Not to beat down the block or anything, just to make MY music sound good haha we'll see where this goes. I also ordered an sr downpipe last night. Hopefully the exhaust will be complete sometime next week. Until then....rain, rain, rain.

In With the New =)
Finally finished up my tranny swap yesterday afternoon. Car is shifting like its brand new. No grinds. No weird noises. And the clutch pedal feels awesome too. I drove it around for a little bit with just the factory downpipe. Sounded somewhat good, but mostly like shit. The Buddy Club Spec II and test pipe should be here soon to put a stop to all that nonsense.
