After taking out the sound deadening in the front floor pans...I started noticing that my my floor mats and shoes were melting. So I went ahead and wrapped my j pipe with titanium exhaust wrap. Helped a little but not like I thought it would. Guess its only a matter of time before my new D-Max mats get fried lol

you should try rigging up a heat shield.. or possibly putting that heat resistant type stuff along the exhaust tunnel.
The heat reflective tape is my next step lol. I actually retained all of the factory heat shields underneath but they're flimsy as hell. I might try to get some thicker stuff under there or maybe throw some of that tape on top of the shield. Thanks for the input bro!
