Couldn't Resist

Started the 5 speed swap tonight. This was my first attempt to get the car high enough to get the tranny out. The plan was to slide car ramps under the wheels but my rim lips didn't think that was a good idea. =(



So I decided it was time for plan b. More pictures to come. =)

I am now in possession of almost everything I need to do my 5 speed swap. What parts I don't have are on their way in the mail =) The swap should start taking place in a matter of days. Also started gutting the rear half of the car; no one rides back there anyways.

New Exhaust is on Ze Way

I got up early this last Saturday to take my old exhaust out and tidy up the motor a bit. I'm currently removing all the emissions crap and waiting for new motor mounts. Overall, I'm happy with the progress so far. This coupe should be track ready in no time.

Bike Stuff

I sold my old black Schwinn frame yesterday and some parts and tools are due to show up in a few days. Then the new fixie should finally be done. That is all.
