Bad Move

Decided to go for a run anyway. I ran 3 miles and then walked the same route. Bad idea. After coming home and showering I started feeling sick. I was on the edge of our couch leaning forward with my head in a bucket and my brother said I passed out and he caught me. After picking me up and smacking my face to wake me up he brought me a banana and some milk. He said he was scared for my life because I had a blank stare and was making a whining noise. I'm lucky to have him, otherwise who knows what would have happened. I started to feel better so I laid down for a nap and then jolted up with the same side effects. Twice in one day isn't good. I haven't drank any soda for days, only water. But somehow I think I still got dehydrated. Cutting weight sucks, but when there are things that I can't seem to get out of my head, exercise is my out. My Body, My Temple

Today at lunch time will be 48 hours since I've eaten. I've been fasting and drinking plenty of water to flush out my body. I've also been walking and hitting the gym. I want to get back into running but I've been out of it for so long that it's going to be a slow start. Last night my brother, some friends, and I went for a pretty crazy bike ride and played hacky sack. It's been years. I seem to have more time than I know what to do with so it's time to cut weight and lean out.

Talks with Nana

My best friend's grandma lives down the street from me. I took my car out for a bit today and stopped at the bottom of my hill to talk to her because she was outside. My brother and I were always close to her growing up. She was doing yardwork so we gave her a hand as we reminisced. She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, and a soothing way with words to remind me where I came from and what's important in life. Talking to her has really helped me with everything that I'm going through right now. I feel bad as our relationship as come more to waves than anything as we drive past. I'm going to be sure to stop down there a lot more often just to say hi or help her when we can because she went out of her way to help us out as we were younger. She even had a fundraiser at the car auction she works for to raise money for my brother and I's little league baseball uniforms. Thanks for everything nana. We love you.

Slacking

I want to apologize for my lack of updates. I've hit a low point in my life and haven't had any ambition to work on my car. I got a few parts in the mail this week so I'll probably get busy tomorrow and try to keep my head out of the gutter. I've found myself questioning where I'm gonna end up and what I'm supposed to do in this life. Change is inevitable, and it can only rain for so long. For now, I'm going to focus on bettering myself, surround myself with friends and family, and keep doing what seems to make me happy, wrenching. Bundude? Let's roll...

Manny's EJ8

Here's what the car looks like after we put the coilovers on. I think the pieced-together bumper I did looks even better on a dumped car. Believe it or not that took a hellalong time to get to fit right...but it was worth the work. The bronze C8s compliment the black nicely but I believe my boy has some new wheels in the works. Stay tuned as he embarks on his journey into the world of lowness. Save the nosebleeds. Haha.

Tomorrow we replace the missing, and tighten the loose, stuff we found during the install. We can't have our dude rolling in a deathtrap.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...better shots coming soon:

Back to the Lake

Heading back to our Gpa's house to help him replace four steps in front of his house and reset the railroad ties along the shore. Hopefully I'll have some more cool photos to post up :) Oh, and we were also up late last night at my right hand Manny's house putting in work on his Civic. Dude's making plays like a boss, so I'll post up pics of that thing too when I get back. TTYL (ROR) Hahaha

Random Snap: Wedding Day

Way Back

Hung with our boy Jerry from way back. Haven't seen him in over a year. It was good to catch up and hear how everything was going. Some friends you'll keep for a lifetime. Others seem to fade away. This crazy brodozer is one that's here to stay. Frealz.

Alignemized...Aheh Heh Heh

This picture explains why I needed to do a self alignment. The steering wheel is dead straight.

All Nighters

Worked on the car until four in the morning on Saturday. Finally got it back on the road yesterday. Actually lays frame now instead of exhaust =D I still need to finish aligning it as best as I can but first I need to figure out which flca's I'm going to run. I'm also waiting on a steering wheel and few other things to show up. Stoked with how things are turning out.

I Think I'm in Love

The Spec II showed up a couple days ago and it sounds and looks ridiculous. <3 I managed to tuck the entire system up above my frame rails after a little more work in the backyard exhaust shop.

Happy Mother's Day to all, especially you ma!

Junk In The Trunk?

Nope. Finished removing the sound deadening from the rear wheel wells. I'm happy with how it turned out. I also put a set of s14 flca's on, new ball joints, sway links, Chuki fogs, and fixed my headlight issue. Turns out it was the jumper wires I had installed for sleepy eyes. I yanked them because I have a pivot controller now. Works like a charm. Oh I also worked on tucking my exhaust. It sits maybe a mm below frame at the flanges now. It'll do...I'm just bummed that my bro got full tuckage lol. Still need to install my new tie rods and work on some wiring. Should be street worthy in no time. Ready to drive this pile.

Shopping Cart Skills So Fresh

I received applause from a random girl in the Hy-Vee parking lot haha. Couldn't tell if she was serious or being sarcastic, but it still made my night. Thanks for your support random girl!

Still waiting for parts :(

Interior Update

Finally got all of the deadening out from the seats back. I left the front floor pans alone so I can hopefully keep some of the heat out from my downpipe. I'm gonna wrap it too so that should help. We'll see how I like it. I might end up stripping the rest out and painting the inside, but for now I think it looks clean. Just a bit more degreasing and it should be good to go. Here's a few before and after pics.
