All Hollow's Eve

Me and the Buns have been getting nuestra casa ready for Halloween. We put up some decorations and our parents bought a shit ton of candy. It should be a fun time. My cousin is gonna bring over my other cousin's daughter to trick or treat. We're probably just gonna pass out some candy and listen to some corny jokes. We had plans to be the Super Mario Brothers but I think that's out the window.

Door Panel Update

I searched through all of the internet twice to find the kind of panels that I am wanting to do. I know aluminum sheet metal has been used for years to rivet onto doors in place of door panels. I know I can do it, but it's nice to see some pictures before you start. There's not a whole lot of content for s13's, but this is what I came up with. I'm wanting to start on them this fall sometime, but it's looking more and more like it's going to be spring. Oh well. The car isn't going anywhere when it starts snowing. Or is it?

Door Panels

My door panels are starting to fall apart and it's getting harder and harder to source clean ones. They've already been reupholstered and I'm not happy with them. I could wait for a clean overpriced set to come along but I think I'm gonna try and do something different. There's a few aftermarket companies that make carbon fiber panels but that shit is played. I want to find some aluminum sheet metal and fabricate something myself. I think I could get it to look decent and I'm planning on a partial gut anyways. I think they would compliment each other nicely. I'm just gonna rip some of the panels out of it and sell them and then worry about chipping the sound deadening out later. I'm hoping that removing the headliner will give me enough room to run a cusco cage since I have a sunroof but I'm not sure. I mite just have to do a roll bar or get something custom.

H4 Conversion?...Yeah H4 Conversion

Well my bro just bought a set of cheap HID's and they seem to be holding up fine. I've decided that I'm going to take the plunge as well, it's just a matter of WHEN. The downside to installing them on an S13 is that you have to buy a conversion housing since they use a sealed beam bulb. I've seen cheap eBay housings for as low as 20 bucks but they're plastic. I'm looking at glass ones so I won't run into fading problems in the future. Hella and Raybrig both sell quality housings. I want the Raybrig's because I like the way they look and they're MAD JDM TYTE YO! Plus I want to be like Crimson Rockett when I grow up. Haha.

Nothin' New. Yet.

Like my broski said, I've got my eye on several different sets of wheels at the moment. I'm quickly turning into a wheel whore. I'm gonna have to start storing them in my girlfriend's living room at the rate im going. There's alot of little shit here and there that needs tidied up and I'm still unsure on HID's and which housings I want. If all goes well, I'll have new wheels on the way this spring and I'll be running a new suspension setup. I'm toying with the idea of putting my stock ruca's back on for a little more camber. Hopefully Max will get their front and rear lca's in production so I can jump on those and not have to worry about it. Winter's creeping up on us and my bank account is growing so I need to start gathering my thoughts and order some goods to start making some magic happen. Stay tuned for updates.

I Just Need to Make Up My Mind Already

Decided to buy an oem se lip today for the 14. Found it down in Texas with all the brackets and hardware I'll need. The main reason I decided on this lip first is because if I ever were to pick up the Vtund one, I would already have all the necessary brackets and harware, which would ease some headaches when trying to just do my own thing when mounting the lip. Sure I could get it done one way or another. But this just seems right.

Cragars Again

I've also been thinking about these too. They really caught Taylor's eye. He's thinking hard about the 17X9s with a pretty dec offset. Maybe powder coat them white or some other rad color.
